Go on to First Trip after Rebuild

The boat was pretty dirty from all of the work, so it took a full day to get it cleaned up and ready for its seasonal launching.  This year was delayed by about 2 weeks due to all of the craziness of engine rebuild and structural repairs.

The boat did clean up OK . . . but the vinyl is starting to get a bit worn.

I always like to run the engine on the ‘muffs’ shortly before launching, that way I can check everything out to be sure it is all working.

We had to wait until late in the day for the tide to be right (high tide), and there was no one else at the launch ramp.  So, we made quick work of it.
