Stringer & Bulkhead Installation

 

I started on the fiberglassing work once the boat had dried out sufficiently.  Below are some pictures of installing and fiberglassing the bulkhead

The engine bay stringers needed to be filled with fiberglass and then topped of with the caps that I had cut off the top edge.

I filled the keel area with CSM and resin so that it would not collect water as it did previously. 


The replacement stringer sections and saddle pieces were cut out of 1/2” exterior plywood, matching the existing material

The first saddle piece was set in place with CSM, resin and SS screws and allowed to set up and harden overnight.
